Víctor Tomás Trejo was born in Jinamagao Arriba, Mao Province, Valverde, Dominican Republic. From an early age, he showed an innate passion for writing, beginning his literary journey at the age of fifteen with poetry.
His academic background is extensive and solid. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Education with a focus on Philosophy and Letters from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) in 2005.
Subsequently, he completed a postgraduate degree in Applied Linguistics for Spanish Teaching at the Pontifical Catholic University Mother and Teacher (PUCMM) in 2009, where he also obtained a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics in 2010.
He complemented his education with a diploma in Natural Sciences (2010) and a bachelor’s degree in Law from UASD in 2016.
In addition to his literary and academic career, he has explored the art of acting, training at the International Film School in 2024.
On a personal level, he comes from a hardworking and dedicated family. His mother, Juana Espinal, has worked as a child caregiver, while his father, Tomás Trejo, has devoted his life to agriculture.
He is part of a large family, with six siblings who have been a fundamental pillar in his development.
In 2020, he emigrated to the United States, where he has continued his journey as a writer, academic, and artist, contributing his talent and creativity to the world of literature.
